IEA says Russia fulfills OPEC plus deal terms by 83% in April
MOSCOW, May 16 (PRIME) -- Russia’s April production of liquid hydrocarbons decreased by 250,000 barrels daily since October 2016, when an OPEC+ reduction deal came in force, to 11.35 million barrels daily meeting the terms of the agreement by 83%, the International Energy Agency (IEA) said in a report on Wednesday.
In March, Russia fulfilled the terms of the deal by 82% and compliance has amounted to 81% on average since the start of 2017.
Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said Russia fulfilled the terms of the deal by 95.2% in April and is committed to support balance on the energy market.
